Improvements to your ping in CF

I've tried pretty much every possible way to improve my ping in CF..
-Defragging the Hard Drive
-Using Game Booster to defrag CF, and switched into game mode
-Trying OpenDNS (Although It doesn't work quite well so i don't recommend it)
-Scanning Computer with Malware Bytes and Spybot S&D
-- Note: These are free virus scanning programs, Do not be alarmed To think these would be viruses. I've been using these 2 for more than a few years. They update pretty often so it's pretty good.


Please make your suggestions to improve perhaps yours and my internet xl

EDIT: Just got the internet fixing to its original speed, and that's by restarting the modem xd

i think the game booster and defragging works the best

well when it comes down to it, Hardware... If you have the highest broadband available to you, internet wise, and live close to the HUB, I would point my finger at the hardware of the pc, If its older. If you're running an onboard video card and a slow processor with even less memory; It comes down to the computer not being able to keep up with the connection that's available to it... No one wants to hear something like this, speacialy when computer parts can be pricey if you dont know where to buy them, but this would sill be my first and only bet.

What's your average ping, and what state do you live in again?

Well i dont know about everyone else but my PC dont even have a stand alone graphics card mine is just a onboard. I run a defrag, spyware and registry cleaner everday while using GameBooster and i pull low 40 to 58 on my ping and thats runnin two PC off the same connection. Have a 50 to 60 fps as well.
How ever i live in West Virginia so its not for from the server in canada.
